VR Technology is proud to announce the release of the Worlds’ first in-rebreather CO2 sensing system.
Sentinel rebreathers can now be fitted with the sensor system to provide an additional level of confidence in monitoring CO2 absorbent usage. The system has the following advantages over currently available canister monitoring techniques;
● Predicts failures in the CO2 sealing system
● Shows filter ‘bypass’ as it occurs
● Instantly shows ‘no filter’ fitted
● Displays current CO2 level within the breathing loop
● Warns the diver to reduce their work rate or depth to avoid a dangerously high CO2 level occurring
Rebreathers have always suffered from the lack of CO2 detection. The CO2X provides complete confidence in the CO2 absorbent status at all times!
